On August 5 MichaelAnn, Aunt Bette, Mitzy and myself (Sherry) went to a Rett Syndrome fundraiser, An Evening with Angels - "Night at the Oscars". MichaelAnn was one of the honorees of the evening. She "won" an Oscar for Best Original Song. There were 6 others girls with Rett Syndrome who also were in attendance. They were also honored and won Oscars.
It was a nice evening, there was a dinner, silent auction and a tribute video. MichaelAnn was in the tribute video and I will be receiving a copy of it and if possible I will post it here for you to enjoy.
The evening raised $10,000 for the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. www.rettsyndrome.org
